This significant aspect encourages us to be brave and face the shadow of our emotional side with astute curiosity. What wounds from earlier life have you suffered that are still weighing heavily on your emotional world. Are these wounds causing you to miss out on your true potential?
Intentionally find a way for self-care this weekend and if you have to spend time around people, ground yourself fully beforehand. If someone lashes out at you or projects their own experiences onto you in a negative way, practice loving-kindness for that person. Remember, every human has an internal world that you’re not privy to. While it’s not an excuse to treat others poorly, they are also navigating this aspect alongside you. Can you remember a time where you unintentionally treated someone poorly only to regret it later? Extend some loving-kindness to yourself while you’re at it.

When the sun left the Air sign Aquarius and entered the water sign Pisces, your emotions may have become a little more fluid and possibly a lot less predictable. So, this Pisces season you may notice emotions flowing like waves in the sea or calm like a serene pond in the morning. Take time to ground yourself and keep a level head each morning and each night to maintain your focus and not let overwhelming feelings get the better of you.
Aries/Pisces tug-of-war in the stars • March 2025
This Pisces transit, the planets Mercury and Venus will dance between the signs, both retrograde, while also pirouetting around Neptune and the North Node. March starts with Venus going retrograde in the cardinal fire sign, followed closing my Mercury leaving Pisces and soon thereafter going retrograde in Aries (on March 15).
Check back in for future updates as to how this energy may affect you, the people around you, and the planet earth during this high-stakes time in human evolution.
Mercury in Pisces dates: February 14, 2025-March 3, 2025
On this day of celebration to feast in the name of St. Valentine, trust your intuition about love and the words you use to express it. If you waited until the last minute to write that card or buy that gift, you might be in luck this year! Let the words flow like water from your hand to the page and don’t edit them when you’re done! Your first choice of words is likely the best; you’ll risk losing the true intention behind your flow otherwise.
As Mercury in Pisces peaks back out from the other side of the sun, don’t be shy! Find your intuitive buddies and make a plan to hang out. You know the buddies I’m talking about. When the two of you get together for a “short visit,” the time flies by and one of you inevitably ends up being late to their next adventure because, four hour later, your both left scratching your heads wonder where the time went. The most interesting and engaging conversations happen with those folk and you end up feeling like you can change the world. Foster those conversations this Mercury in Pisces, as this transit holds space for imaginative and intuitive conversations.
Get ready for some disruptive Uranus energy this full moon! You know when people say “Yeah, the full moon makes things crazy?” Okay, this is that full moon. Not only is this the Full Moon in Leo this year (hear me roar), but the moon is also opposing Mercury (in Aquarius) and square Uranus (in Taurus). There is some Mars trine Saturn energy in the sky, as well, which, if channeled for patience and calmness, can ease the tension of the other aspects.
Expect things to be just generally out of hand, conversations to be quite a bit explosive and difficult to manage, and the undercurrent of misunderstanding to be brewing.
A few things are contributing to this energy:
With Mercury behind the sun from our perspective, and in a minor square also with Uranus, this may be like a mini Mercury Retrograde. Until Mercury peaks back out from behind the sun, be caution of hot-headedness leading your conversations, particularly with those with whom you do not see eye-to-eye. You may also experience thoughts and feeling go up and down and all over the place. Uranus square Mercury definitely can stir things up.
While the Full Moon in Leo can bring a fiery, ramped up energy to the people around us, this moon is square with Uranus while the Sun is also square with Uranus, so things can also be rather uncertain and hard to navigate. Uranus also seeks individuality and independence, so this may be a good full moon to work with alone if your experiencing tensions in your friend group.
Mars (retrograding in Cancer) trine Saturn (in Pisces) could be the savior if you use this aspect to channel inner patience and calmness. Persevere through any difficulties arising at this time and the upcoming New Moon in Pisces at the end of the month on February 28th may bring the breath of fresh air you need to reset.
When Mercury conjuncts the sun at 21° Aquarius, the planet itself will be positioned on the other side of the sun from earth’s perspective. This is a good time to consider where you may be hiding the true words you want to say. Consider the possibility of speaking those words. Would authentically speaking those words shake up dynamics in your life?
Shadow work journal prompt: Where am I hiding my need for communication? How could I unlock authentic communication to change my life?
Jupiter stations direct in Gemini in a trine with Mercury in Aquarius
Jupiter went retrograde in Gemini on October 9, 2024 and today we begin to see some relief from that challenging energy. While in retrograde, Jupiter encourages us to follow-up and make good on our promises and to reassess our life trajectories. If you’ve done so, this upcoming period of direct motion in Gemini may open the door for rewards and opportunities in the coming months. Moving from retrograde to direct in 11° of Gemini, Jupiter offers us an opportunity to transition in areas of social interaction, social media, the mind, and academics. However, Gemini is the sign of Jupiter’s detriment so if this journey still seems fraught with challenges, trust that not only are the challenges for your greater good, but they will lead to expansions well beyond your wildest dreams.
Since Mercury is at home in Gemini and Aquarius, it’s trine with Jupiter lends some aid in the area of communication. These two planets work together at this time to help us more easily articulate our point of view. Just be cautious as Venus enters Aries a few hours before Jupiter stations direct and could lead to some intensive and even antagonistic tendency in these conversations with others. It’s important to stay grounded when holding conversation, especially with others who may fall on a different side of the political spectrum. Stay grounded, especially if you’re feeling activated, and keep your ears open. If you can find it in yourself to listening with empathy, you may find some understanding of your common ground, even with those with which you do not fully agree.

Venus moves into Aries conjunct with the North Node
Venus in Aries has a historical significance, specially around social movements and protests, so deserves an at-length discussion.
This transit occurs in the 4th house, the house of home, family, and ancestry, making this a good time for introspection around your home life and how Aries energy may have played a part in your upbringing. Check your natal chart and prepare for this to compound the energy of planets in your fourth house. For example, if Saturn is in your fourth house, this would be an excellent time to channel the energy of Aries fire to burn through any pre-conceived notions you have of the world due to the family culture in which you were raised. Or alternatively, if you have Mars in your fourth house (especially in a fire sign), you may be predisposed to bouts of anger in your personal relationships during the time of this transit. Being aware of this potential influence could prevent damage to your relationships, especially if you have a fire sign-heavy chart.
Entering a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius, this indicates the potential for Venus Aries energy in the preexisting potentiality for massive shifts in the collective around the 7th. Keep an eye out for a discussion of the Venus in Aries transit, especially considering it will go retrograde in Aries this year, extending this energy and bringing up the potential for repeats of historical events centered around human rights movements.
